Listen up varmints – this here’s a piece o’ news fresh from this here telegram i’m holdin’ in my hands – old school, Wild West point and click adventure Lone McLonegan is headed to Nintendo Switch and Steam on the 4th of November 2021.

The game casts players as rusty, out of shape, ex-‘Most Wanted Outlaw in the Wild West’, the eponymous Lone McLonegan. Upon hearing that his arch nemesis, Bragg Badass, has become the West’s number one most wanted outlaw, McLonegan sets off to rob the most secure safe in the county at the Bank of Oldewell, getting himself into all kinds of amusing misadventures along the way.

In classic point and click fashion, McLonegan will be able to pick up and use objects, solve puzzles and interact with a number of oddball characters in often comedic exchanges. Oh – and he can kick stuff too.

The game has a charming, hand-drawn feel to all of its scenes and characters, along with some genuinely funny dialogue and situations. There’s a neat fourth wall-breaking touch to the character of McLonegan, who’ll talk to you and discuss your decisions with you too.

It’s shaping up to be a charming, hilarious and engaging adventure. You’ll be able to see for yourself just how much of a badass McLonegan can be when his game – developed by Sonomio Games and published by Flynn’s Arcade – launches on Nintendo Switch and Steam in a little under a month’s time.
