Darkyloseid is heading for Trimyscira – and Wonderdon must face him alone, with both Supersaur and Batsaur distracted. Can she take down the terrifying threat alone – or can she count on her friends to come through for her and her realm?

As someone who’s not exactly a huge fan of DC – I was much more of a Marvel Comics reader as a kid and that’s continued through adulthood – I must admit that Jurassic League has been a blast. It’s full of fun little references and puns, with callbacks to huge events in DC history that even casual readers like myself will understand.

This was a much more consistent issue in terms of its action and the ongoing story, with none of the slightly unclear storytelling that’s been a minor problem thus far. It helps that the story has simplified a little here, not jumping between too many locales or setting up anything new – it’s now full steam ahead to the climax.

It makes for a much easier and more satisfying read.

If, like me, you’re not a voracious reader of DC comics, there’s still an awful lot to like in Jurassic League. It’s very newbie friendly and accessible – and it’s an awful lot of fun.
