Jeff the Land Shark – the fourth-wall breaking, seriously meta hero Gwenpool’s adopted pet – gets his own comic, with the adorable It’s Jeff! #1.

A series of seriously cute, mostly dialogue free strips featuring the often amusing, frequently heartwarming adventures (and misadventures) of Jeff in, around and outside Avengers Mansion, these brief tales first appeared on the Marvel Unlimited app.

They’re collected for the first time here though, with a new cover and one all new story too.

It’s full of genuinely charming moments – with Jeff baking, swimming, eating and making plenty of new friends along the way.

There’s also a lot of superhero cameos too, with Kate Bishop perhaps making her presence felt more than any other hero in taking care of – and admonishing – Jeff as he engages in his shenanigans.

It’s a breezy, light-hearted and really fun comic; it’s also suitable for all ages too.

I really enjoyed It’s Jeff; I’m definitely looking forward to catching up with the cute Land Shark again at some point.
