The humans have managed to escape the big game reserve they were trapped on – but it’s clear they’re not all on the same side. With Theta having been seriously injured, the opportunity to take control of the ship is taken – but no one seems to realise that the Yautja are in hot pursuit.
This second volume of Marvel’s Predator series has yet to put a foot wrong – and continues to brilliantly build on the foundations the first volume put down.
Though we’re still nowhere near finding out just how the different people have been displaced in time as well as space, the more immediate threat of the sub group of humans as well as the Yautja hunting everyone is what propels this particular issue.
It’s a tense and action packed issue, full of developments and surprises.
Though Predator as a franchise often falls short of its promise, it’s found a natural home in comic form many times – and this Marvel series is no exception. If you’re a fan of sometimes bloody sci-fi action rather than Predator specifically, you’ll still find a lot to like with this series.
And if you happen to be a Predator fan? Well, what are you doing still reading this review? Go catch up with the Marvel Predator comics; you can thank me later.
