Scott Snyder and Franco Francavilla’s Night of the Ghoul is racing towards its climax, with Forest desperate to find his kidnapped son and the titular Ghoul close to being unleashed.

Though this is a slightly lesser issue than the suspenseful, build-up of the previous chapters – mostly because of its focus on action – it definitely still has its moments.

There’s one section in particular that’s absolutely mind blowing in terms of its colour scheme and Francavilla’s stylistic choices; yet there’s also a few moments that feel awfully convenient in their timing.

Night of the Ghoul is definitely still worth reading and, with an issue to go, it most certainly has time to come back around.
