Having escaped the clutches of a bounty hunter, the rival Agorrian and Zertonian pilots are forced to continue working together.

Not only do they find more than they bargained for on the bounty hunter’s ship, but there may be more to at least one of our main characters than meets the eye.

Can they put aside lifelong, deeply cultural rivalries long enough to get back to their respective people?

I was a little disappointed with the last issue; though it gave us a great deal of exposition to fill in some of the blanks of Agorrian and Zertonian history, it still felt like something was missing.

This time, the appearance of more Transformers characters is less of a shock or a surprise – yet the narrative concerning our two rival protagonists offers up some stunning surprises itself.

Regardless of why the last issue felt a little lacking, it does feel as if this third chapter of Void Rivals is back on track – and gives us a fantastic cliffhanger to whet our appetite for issue 4.
