The newest CCG/TCG on the block is here and I’ve played it.

A lot.

I was fortunate enough to play Star Wars Unlimited a few weeks in advance at Beachhead ’24, which is a show primarily known for wargaming.

I then played it and built my own deck at the pre-release event, a week in advance of the game’s official launch.

And I’ve played it an awful lot since then too, dabbling in deck building as well as using the excellent decks found in the Two Player Starter set.

So, having played it so much, what are my thoughts?

I will say it’s good to see that Star Wars Unlimited seems to have hit the ground running and, if the group of players at the pre-release I attended are anything to go by, it’s already attracted a willing and supportive audience who are looking to ensure it’s around for a long time to come.
