Bison’s Psycho Power missile is about to launch, and he needs to be stopped. With Baxter Stockman having tricked the Turtles into destroying the missile controls, however, how can the crisis be averted? Well, strange times make for strange bedfellows, as they say. And you don’t get any stranger than this colossal set of crossover characters teaming up and taking each other on in combat!

This final issue hits all of the beats you’d expect it to, with a few surprises along the way. It’s as nicely done, and as well written and illustrated, as the rest of the series; it’s an absolute joy for fans of both the TMNT and Street Fighter. Having grown up when these franchises were at the top of the food chain in pop culture terms, this comic has been a silly, fun and amusing dream come true.

Look, it’s not exactly Watchmen. But why would you expect that in the first place? This crossover does everything it needs to, and more, to be a joyously fun experience for fans of all ages. It was a great deal of fun, and the fact that it doesn’t take itself too seriously (as some crossovers do; hello, Transformers vs The Terminator) makes it all the more enjoyable.
