Set in Manchester just over two decades into the future, the first issue of The Ghost System presented a nightmarish slice of modern cyberpunk.
In my review of issue one, I concluded that the story, though dark and downbeat in tone, it was never less than compelling, and builds to a strong climax; which makes you eager to get your hands on the next part of the story immediately.
It’s great news, then, that The Ghost System #2 is currently in the midst of a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, so we know (providing it reaches the funding goal) that it isn’t too far off.
Various pledge levels will get you the second issue or both of the first two issues, along with excellent variant covers or beautiful art prints if those are of interest!
I’m personally very excited to see where Soro’s story goes next, willingly placing myself in the more than capable hands of writer David Wilburn and artist Rafael Romeo Magat.
You can check out the Kickstarter campaign and pledge for your own digital and/or physical copies of The Ghost System #2 (and #1 if you need it!) at this link.
If you want to get a more immediate fix of dark British cyberpunk, you can buy The Ghost System #1 from Global Comix at this link.
