Manchester, 2045: Though genius hacker Soro is determined to continue exacting revenge upon the home invaders who killed his beloved pet cat, his past is about to catch up with him. The titular hacker collective, The Ghost System, are keeping tabs on him, and it seems that they’re about to send a message that he can’t ignore.
Writer David Wilburn and artist Rafael Romeo Magat have given us another brilliantly compelling issue here, with some absolutely jaw-dropping artwork (one particular double page sequence absolutely blew my mind), and a script that isn’t shy about its social and political commentary; at times, in fact, it feels almost uncomfortably prescient, in light of recent events and ugly attitudes that have been emboldened in the UK.
Just as I noted in my review of issue one, though it’s a fairly downbeat story in general, it is brilliantly compelling, and, just like the previous chapter, leaves you eager for more.
The Ghost System #2 was successfully crowdfunded via Kickstarter, and will soon be available; you can buy first issue, The Ghost System #1, from Global Comix at this link, and keep an eye on the social media channels for Broken Face Comics on Social Media at the following links, for news on the availability of the second issue:

Many thanks to David Wilburn for providing me with a digital copy of The Ghost System #2 for review purposes.
