Solila is badly wounded, and the Autobot, Springer, thinks he has the equipment to heal her. And he might be right, because her biology holds a secret that’s a massive shock to the Autobot, not to mention Solila herself…

Finally, writer Robert Kirkman has properly justified the inclusion of Void Rivals into the Energon Universe, and has done so in a spectacularly brilliant way.

This is one of the best issues of Void Rivals so far, and totally justifies what has, so far, often been an awkward inclusion of characters that didn’t seem to quite fit.

In any case, this is great; if you were on the fence about Void Rivals after my less than glowing reviews of some issues leading up to this one, I’m here to tell you that, for now at least, it’s worth persevering with.
