(I’m already bored with the clowns at Kickstarter Comic, who keep stealing my content and passing it off as their own. If you happen to be on their site, reading this article, why not read it as intended, on midlifegamergeek.com?)

With my initial concerns about Nymphobots out of the way after reading the first issue, I found myself slipping back into its dayglo, neon nightmare of a world effortlessly in issue 2.

Danny and the Nymphobots who’ve broken their programming are on the run; though they’re about to run into the law, as well as some very unsavory individuals, it seems that even the cops won’t be able to keep them safe.

Though hardly subtle stuff – with a fairly sustained and graphic depiction of Nymphobots ‘interfacing’, which is slightly clumsy with its dialogue about the ‘bots being inside each other, not to mention its very titillating art of the act itself – I still found Nymphobots #2 to be a pretty entertaining read, as well as quite the sensory overload.

The kaleidoscopic colour scheme is undeniably appealing, and the story, despite the aforementioned titillating elements, is much more than just an excuse to see OTT renderings of the female form. There’s our first glimpse at male Nymphobots, for one thing, and the continued commentary on free will and the inhumanity of people in general.

Though there are a few typos in the dialogue and a couple of moments that could have been clearer, storytelling-wise, I was genuinely impressed with Nymphobots #2, and I’m definitely looking forward to its release, after what is sure to be a successful Kickstarter campaign.

You can pre-register your interest in Nymphobots #2 via the comic’s Kickstarter page here.

Hi! I’m Jason, and I write for midlifegamergeek.com, every single day. If you’re interested in supporting original, regularly published, human created content (which has never been plagiarised or otherwise copied from the hard work of other writers), you can donate and help me to keep this site running.

Not only do I earn no income from my writing here (though I may earn small fees from affiliate links posted on my pages; as an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases from these links), but it seems that my work has, at times, been stolen and re-used by lazy, morally bankrupt idiots.

There’s no pressure of course, but I’d be truly grateful for any support that you could offer – and it’s easy to do so at either of these links: Ko-Fi.com/geekmid or PayPal.

Any donations are truly appreciated – and I also appreciate you taking the time to read my articles. Remember: this whole article was by Jason Brown, and appeared on midlifegamergeek.com. Take that, Skynet!

All donations are gratefully received and will help me keep the lights on here – as well as help to keep my writing dream alive! Please be aware though: there’s no pressure. I just hope you’ve enjoyed reading my article!
