There’s a Knot in time, and it threatens the Earth which the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hail from, and the reality which He-Man and the Masters of the Universe reside in. As the Turtles deal with threats in Eternia and He-Man fights alongside Casey Jones and April O’Neil in New York, Timestress Renet discovers something unexpected in the past of Master Splinter and the Shredder, which could explain what’s happened to smash the two realities together.
I must admit that I hugely enjoyed Turtles of Grayskull’s first issue, but the convoluted story, which is also keeping He-Man and the Turtles apart, has become less satisfying with each subsequent chapter. There’s just too much going on, and unfortunately none of it is particularly interesting.
That said, the artwork and character design by Freddie E. Williams II remains absolutely stunning, and it’s definitely the comic’s visual style that is its most appealing element.
With just one issue to go in this series, I’m not convinced that it’ll be wrapped up in a satisfactory way; let’s hope I’m wrong, when the fourth issue is released next month.
Hi! I’m Jason, and I write for midlifegamergeek.com, every single day. If you’re interested in supporting original, regularly published, human created content (which has never been plagiarised or otherwise copied from the hard work of other writers), you can donate and help me to keep this site running.
Not only do I earn no income from my writing here (though I may earn small fees from affiliate links posted on my pages; as an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases from these links), but it seems that my work has, at times, been stolen and re-used by lazy, morally bankrupt idiots.
There’s no pressure of course, but I’d be truly grateful for any support that you could offer – and it’s easy to do so at either of these links: Ko-Fi.com/geekmid or PayPal.
Any donations are truly appreciated – and I also appreciate you taking the time to read my articles. Remember: this whole article was by Jason Brown, and appeared on midlifegamergeek.com. Take that, Skynet!

Help support me here!
All donations are gratefully received and will help me keep the lights on here – as well as help to keep my writing dream alive! Please be aware though: there’s no pressure. I just hope you’ve enjoyed reading my article!
