In this issue, the kids are allowed out of the complex to check out a stage show featuring the hero, Ninjak – but it’s not long before trouble arrives, in the form of The Bellicose Brothers. Of course, this gives our team the chance to team up with Ninjak to stop the chaos!

Ever since I picked up the first issue of Troublemakers on a complete whim, it’s been clear that it’s a comic which is massively underrated and unfairly forgotten.

As one of the very few original titles published by Acclaim Comics, which mostly rebooted and relaunched titles previously published by Valiant, it’s even more impressive that it found its voice so quickly, and with a completely original concept and cast too.

Though of course there’s the Ninjak team up in this issue, Troublemakers still does a great job of feeling like its own thing, and once again it’s a comic which has a lot of humour, and a great deal of heart too.

Of all the comics I’ve been picking up on my random adventures through bargain back issue boxes, Troublemakers just might be my favourite.

Hi! I’m Jason, and I write for midlifegamergeek.com, every single day. If you’re interested in supporting original, regularly published, human created content (which has never been plagiarised or otherwise copied from the hard work of other writers), you can donate and help me to keep this site running.

Not only do I earn no income from my writing here (though I may earn small fees from affiliate links posted on my pages; as an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases from these links), but it seems that my work has, at times, been stolen and re-used by lazy, morally bankrupt idiots.

There’s no pressure of course, but I’d be truly grateful for any support that you could offer – and it’s easy to do so at either of these links: Ko-Fi.com/geekmid or PayPal.

Any donations are truly appreciated – and I also appreciate you taking the time to read my articles. Remember: this whole article was by Jason Brown, and appeared on midlifegamergeek.com. Take that, Skynet!

Help support me here!

All donations are gratefully received and will help me keep the lights on here – as well as help to keep my writing dream alive! Please be aware though: there’s no pressure. I just hope you’ve enjoyed reading my article!
