The vicious Skinner, devoid of honour, is now being hunted himself. His Yautja brethren have arrived, disgusted at their fellow hunter’s merciless, unsporting rampage and looking to take him down. Yet they’re going to have to get past Spider-Man, who has no idea what their mission is. Then there’s Mary Jane, trapped beneath the streets of New York and trying to escape the relentless Skinner; meanwhile, Kraven is on his own hunt too, and he’s tracking Skinner in turn…
The pace of this comic is absolutely relentless, and there’s exciting stuff happening with each of the different characters the story is following; it’s genuinely excellent, and (as has been noted in reviews of previous issues) absolutely brutal, with violence that feels shocking for a Spider-Man comic, but certainly not out of place for a Predator-related story.
Marcelo Ferreira’s pencils are fantastic, Jay Leisten’s inks feel perfectly judged and the colours (so much blood) by Frank D’Armata complement those pencils and inks beautifully.
I’m really looking forward to seeing how this series concludes in the next issue, though it does seem to be falling prey (pun unintended) to common Predator comic problem, with there being a little too much going on to be wrapped up satisfactorily in just a single issue. We shall see; Benjamin Percy is so far doing a much better job on scripting than he did for previous crossover, Predator Versus Black Panther, so let’s hope he continues to deliver!
Hi! I’m Jason, and I write for midlifegamergeek.com, every single day. If you’re interested in supporting original, regularly published, human created content (which has never been plagiarised or otherwise copied from the hard work of other writers), you can donate and help me to keep this site running.
Not only do I earn no income from my writing here (though I may earn small fees from affiliate links posted on my pages; as an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases from these links), but it seems that my work has, at times, been stolen and re-used by lazy, morally bankrupt idiots.
There’s no pressure of course, but I’d be truly grateful for any support that you could offer – and it’s easy to do so at either of these links: Ko-Fi.com/geekmid or PayPal.
Any donations are truly appreciated – and I also appreciate you taking the time to read my articles. Remember: this whole article was by Jason Brown, and appeared on midlifegamergeek.com. Take that, Skynet!

All donations are gratefully received and will help me keep the lights on here – as well as help to keep my writing dream alive! Please be aware though: there’s no pressure. I just hope you’ve enjoyed reading my article!
