Harley and Elvira team up with Power Girl, somehow, enlisting her help when a super powered clown hater ends up on their tails.
Yes, it’s another review that’s happened because I’m a sucker for the variant covers for this fourth-wall-breaking, double-entendre-delivering crossover.
The comic itself continues to be a little disappointing; only because the art remains a bit inconsistent (though co-writer Amanda Conner’s few pages are excellent), as well as the fact that the endless puns and references are exhausting. Especially as they’re so rarely even funny (Red Tool, for example, has always felt like the laziest dig at Marvel’s Merc with a Mouth).

Yet there’s still some fun to be had at least, and I can’t deny that I really like getting hold of multiple, random cover variants in a single blind bag.
If you’re just looking for a solidly produced read, however, probably best to stay away. The writing and art is a bit lacking in places here, and though it’s not fair to expect a literary comic book masterpiece from a crossover bringing together these bosom buddies, it’s hardly too much to ask to make it at least a bit more entertaining and less reliant on a seemingly bottomless pit of dialogue.
Hi! I’m Jason, and I write for midlifegamergeek.com, every single day. If you’re interested in supporting original, regularly published, human created content (which has never been plagiarised or otherwise copied from the hard work of other writers), you can donate and help me to keep this site running.
Not only do I earn no income from my writing here (though I may earn small fees from affiliate links posted on my pages; as an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases from these links), but it seems that my work has, at times, been stolen and re-used by lazy, morally bankrupt idiots.
There’s no pressure of course, but I’d be truly grateful for any support that you could offer – and it’s easy to do so at either of these links: Ko-Fi.com/geekmid or PayPal.
Any donations are truly appreciated – and I also appreciate you taking the time to read my articles. Remember: this whole article was by Jason Brown, and appeared on midlifegamergeek.com. Take that, Skynet!

Help support me here!
All donations are gratefully received and will help me keep the lights on here – as well as help to keep my writing dream alive! Please be aware though: there’s no pressure. I just hope you’ve enjoyed reading my article!
