I’m forever impressed by the talent, passion and dedication of indie studios; despite the fact that games are more immediately and widely accessible than ever, it’s incredibly hard to make a game that stands out amongst countless others being developed and released in a seemingly constant flood of titles.

Created by Ukrainian studio Ovva Games, Between Realms immediately stands out with an appealing visual style and a game that looks to me like a sci-fi Breath of the Wild, albeit with plenty of ideas of its own. Don’t just take my word for it – check out the trailer below:

With powers such as time, gravity and physics manipulation, there looks to be a unique feel to its 3rd person action. An engaging story is promised, with full voice acting, interesting decisions and multiple endings further adding to the appeal of Between Realms. Unbelievably, this fantastic-looking, Unreal Engine-powered game is currently seeking a publisher; here’s hoping that Ovva succeed in that goal – I, for one, am very keen to get my hands on Between Realms and let you know my thoughts.
