ININ Games are adding a pretty exciting pair of games to their library of physical releases, with Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef coming in Autumn 2022, along with the charming hidden object-style game Hidden Through Time: Definitive Edition on September 14th 2022.

It’s quite a coup for ININ to have picked up a Warhammer-licensed title – and Shootas, Blood & Teef certainly looks like a unique entry for the franchise. With a hand-drawn look and a focus on Orks instead of those ubiquitous Space Marines, this 1-4 player 2D shooter looks like it’s going to be an absolute blast.

With enemies including humans, other Orks and Genestealer Cultists, the ultimate task is to retrieve your stolen, luscious hair squig. Because of course it is – what other excuse could there be for such wanton destruction?

ININ will be pn publishing duties for the physical version of this comical take on Games Workshop’s grimdark universe. Coming to PS4, PS5 and Switch, there will also be further special editions, no doubt stuffed with plenty of awesome physical goodies, from Limited Run – though no details are available on these editions just yet.

Perhaps they’ll include a luscious hair squig? If they do, I’m there. Watch this space for further info in any case!

In complete opposition to the grimdark chaos and destruction of the far future is the cute, whimsical and sedate Hidden Through Time: Definitive Edition. This version of the game includes all of the DLC as well as the base game, collected in one edition for the first time ever. Two of the included DLC packs are actually still in development and unreleased, so they’ll be brand new when the Definitive Edition arrives!

As well as Hidden Through Time being a family-friendly hide-and-seek game with plenty of content included from the developers, an editor is included so that players can create, upload and download custom levels for near enough infinite replayability.

Perhaps surprisingly, developers Rogueside are responsible for both titles – let’s hope that their charm and wit has rubbed off on the Warhammer universe, so that their foray into the far future turns out just as appealingly as Hidden Through Time!
