Having recently read and reviewed Venus Rises: Parallels, I can highly recommend it, especially if you like a healthy serving of political and social commentary with your sci-fi.

One of my favourite aspects of science fiction is the way it can tackle present day issues in a way that’s approachable and doesn’t come off as preachy; that’s definitely something that creator JG Birdsall achieves brilliantly.
