When an old soldier dies in mysterious, seemingly impossible circumstances at a care home, sibling detectives Bernard and Felicity Hiltson are brought in, and soon find quite a big problem to deal with, while trapped inside the building with the rest of its inhabitants.

I had the pleasure of checking out Chris Denton, David Hitchcock and Rob Jones’s superb comic for myself recently (take a look at my review for more, non-spoiler details!), and it’s now live on Kickstarter, having launched its crowdfunding campaign.

It’s well worth backing if you like your comics dripping with atmosphere and riddled with shocks, and you can do so via its Kickstarter page.

If the campaign is successful, I’m definitely hoping that we see more of the siblings and their Edwardian era shenanigans; there’s certainly enough world building and compelling character beats in The Whitechapel Cordon to leave readers wanting more!
