Things are going bad for Schaefer in Colombia, as he’s kidnapped by the very drug lords whose operations he’d thwarted back in New York. Naturally, they’re not buying his story about being in danger from alien hunters. Speaking of which, Schaefer’s partner back in The Big Apple has discovered something terrifying when looking out at the city through the Predator’s helmet – it seems that our downed Yautja had quite a few friends on their way…

It’s crazy how this first ever Predator comic series started out so much like the Predator 2 movie, and goes in such a wildly different direction. With main character John Schaefer being the brother of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character, the story is tied in much closer with the events of Predator, without actually bringing Dutch back. So much time is taken up with John Schaefer being occupied with the drug lords too, though in fairness this apes the style of the original film, which dramatically switches gears from 80s action flick to horror-adjacent sci-fi. In the jungle.

And then there’s the events occurring in New York, which kick things up several gears! How does all that play out, with just one more issue to conclude the story? We’ll soon find out…

Hi! I’m Jason, and I write for midlifegamergeek.com, every single day. If you’re interested in supporting original, regularly published, human created content (which has never been plagiarised or otherwise copied from the hard work of other writers), you can donate and help me to keep this site running.

Not only do I earn no income from my writing here (though I may earn small fees from affiliate links posted on my pages; as an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases from these links), but it seems that my work has, at times, been stolen and re-used by lazy, morally bankrupt idiots.

There’s no pressure of course, but I’d be truly grateful for any support that you could offer – and it’s easy to do so at either of these links: Ko-Fi.com/geekmid or PayPal.

Any donations are truly appreciated – and I also appreciate you taking the time to read my articles. Remember: this whole article was by Jason Brown, and appeared on midlifegamergeek.com. Take that, Skynet!

Help support me here!

All donations are gratefully received and will help me keep the lights on here – as well as help to keep my writing dream alive! Please be aware though: there’s no pressure. I just hope you’ve enjoyed reading my article!
