Following a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2019 – in which the game reached 191% of its funding goal – Ninja Chowdown will soon be releasing on iOS.

The adventures of chubby ninja Donatsu, Ninja Chowdown sees The Traveling Rollnin’s leader, Sushi Sam, stealing the Doughnut of Ultimate Knowledge from Donatsu’s Dough-jo. Chonky badass Donatsu is the only ninja with the skills to get it back!

With an appealingly colourful pixel art aesthetic, wonderfully bouncy animation and 35 appropriately bite-sized (see what I did there?) levels to work your way through, Ninja Chowdown looks like it’s going to deliver some seriously tasty, donut-themed fun. Free to play (ad supported, so you can pay a one-off cost of $2.99 to remove ads and receive a bundle of coins to buy clothes, weapons and pets too), it’ll be available on iOS very shortly. For now, whet your appetite for the ninja/donut fun with the trailer below.
