Launching this week on Nintendo Switch (as well as leaving early access on PC and Atari VCS), Forever Entertainment’s Danger Scavenger is a cyberpunk-themed roguelike shooter with a seriously cool visual style and superb synth-based soundtrack. It’s a neat throwback to classic top-down shooters with some excellent graphical flourishes.

A co-op mode adds to the appeal – plus, with plenty of weapons to choose from and piles of loot to collect, it looks like Danger Scavenger should be an awful lot of simple, old school fun.

You can check out the game’s trailer below; a review will be following later this week.
