Well, it doesn’t happen often – does it?

Regular readers of the blog will know that I’ve been catching up with the Titan Books Alien novels, which I’d been reading to tide myself over until the arrival of Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Though my very positive first impressions have soured a little bit, mostly due to the numerous technical issues facing the game at the moment, it’s still an entertaining game and I have to be thankful that it, in a roundabout way, got me back into reading this year after a bit of a slump.

Having read (and reviewed) all of the Marvel Alien comics so far too, I’ve been pretty immersed in the universe and it was a great honour to have my work featured on Polygon, in the form of an article discussing and ranking the currently available Titan novels. It’s that article I’m promoting here – please do go check it out if you have a chance; the more views it gets, the more chance there is that they’ll allow me back to talk about more supremely geeky stuff.

Here’s the link. Enjoy!

Enjoyed what you’ve read? Want to support my blog? There’s no pressure of course, but every penny helps to keep this site running, as I earn no income from my writing here (though I may earn small fees from affiliate links posted on my pages).

However, I’d be truly grateful for any support that you could offer – and it’s easy to do so at either of these links: Ko-Fi.com/geekmid or PayPal.

Any donations are truly appreciated – and I also appreciate you taking the time to read my articles. Thank you so much!

Help support me here!

All donations are gratefully received and will help me keep the lights on here – as well as help to keep my writing dream alive! Please be aware though: there’s no pressure. I just hope you’ve enjoyed reading my article!
