Video game historian and writer Jeffrey Wittenhagen crowdfunded the first printing of The Switch Collector: Volume One back in 2019. The book is a beautiful coffee table tome that features comprehensive coverage of the Nintendo console’s first year.

Thoughtfully designed to match the original Switch console’s colour scheme – and even going so far as to mimic the Switch game box format of having a red spine and white text – it’s a wonderful volume that will appeal to Switch fans worldwide.

The only problem is that the initial print run sold out quickly, but Premium Edition Games have stepped into the fray and will be offering a strictly limited reprint, consisting of just 500 extra copies of the book (so you’ll have to be quick if you want to get your hands on one!).

Pre-orders for the book’s reprint go live tomorrow, 14th September. Once live, you’ll be able to pre-order your copy at this link. Shipping is anticipated to take place in advance of the 2021 Holidays (that’s Christmas to us Brits!), making the book a perfect gift for the Switch fanatic in your life.
