Fans of epic, pixel art-based, fantasy dungeon crawlers should be very excited at the news that the two critically acclaimed titles set in the Hammerwatch universe – Hammerwatch and Heroes of Hammerwatch – are getting the Strictly Limited treatment, with physical editions for both PS4 and Switch being made available to pre-order on Sunday, April 17th, at 12 AM CEST (midnight).
Fans should head over to Strictly Limited (via this link) to check out the editions on offer – alongside the standard Heroes’ Edition (containing a manual, which feels like quite a novelty these days!), which itself is limited to 2500 copies worldwide on Switch and just 1200 copies for PS4, there are also Special Limited Heroes’ Editions for both consoles (1500 for Switch and just 800 to be made available for PS4). These editions feature a nice array of extras, as you’d expect from Strictly Limited.
Both games feature local multiplayer and are excellent examples of Gauntlet style hack and slash dungeon crawling, with roguelite elements in Heroes of Hammerwatch that make it into a near-enough limitless challenge.
Check out the games and sign up to be alerted just before pre-orders go live at this link.
