Scottish indie developer Lowtek Games has teamed with prolific publisher Ratalaika Games to bring two of their titles – Flea and Tapeworm Disco Puzzle – to all current console platforms on July 1st 2022.

Having first encountered the maddeningly addictive, hardcore platform game Flea on the excellent Indie Heroes 1 compilation cartridge for the Evercade, as well as being able to check out the more recent, superb puzzle game Tapeworm Disco Puzzle on the Evercade VS (where it temporarily featured as their free Game of the Month), I can vouch for just how good both titles are.

Having originally been released for NES, Dreamcast and PC, both games are now coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch in a double pack, priced at $7.99 / €7.99 / £5.99.

It’s superb value for a pair of very different titles that are packed with addictive gameplay – and Tapeworm Disco Puzzle even features 25 co-op levels if you want to rope in a friend for some musical, worm-based puzzling.

Both titles have gorgeous, very authentic-feeling retro aesthetics and are genuinely stuffed to the gills with addictive gameplay and plenty of levels to conquer, with Flea alone featuring 80 levels and plenty of secrets to discover.
