ININ Games have just announced a physical edition of two narrative adventure games from inkle – 80 Days & Overboard, with pre-orders live right now at Strictly Limited Games.

80 Days is a gorgeous, steampunk reimagining of Jules Verne’s classic book, Around the World in 80 Days. Players are cast as Passepartout, the long-suffering valet to Phileas Fogg. Over the course of the game, Passepartout is tasked with setting the route on their adventure, managing the budget, oversee Fogg’s health and well-being of your master – and, ultimately, getting back to London before the clock runs out. A beloved and highly acclaimed title, 80 Days was even named as one of the best games of 2014 by no less than Time magazine!

Overboard is a brilliant inversion of the whodunnit formula: your husband has been murdered and…you did it! So your mission is to cover up your crime and get away with it, with just eight hours to do so. It’s a clever and engaging concept that feels hugely original. Overboard won ‘Best Writing in a Video Game’ from the Writers Guild Awards too!

There are two editions on offer from Strictly Limited Games; the standard edition – featuring both games and a manual – is retailing at 29,99€ / $30,99 and is limited to 2000 copies worldwide.

Collectors will want to get their hands on the lovely Special Limited Edition, however, which comes stuffed with wonderful extras. The Special Limited Edition is retailing for 49,99€ / $50,99 – and is limited to just 999 copies!
