Upcoming VR kart racing game Dash Dash World continues to look incredibly promising as it speeds towards release. The above teaser – which debuts today – features lightning fast flashes of positive feedback from many of the 5,000 beta testers who have so far been lucky enough to get their hands on the game.
The bright, cartoony look gives the game a brilliantly accessible feel and with a variety of characters, karts, costumes, weapons and environments on offer, it should have a great deal of long lasting appeal.
With cross-platform play between Quest, Rift, SteamVR and PSVR – as well as full feature parity between all versions of the game – it shouldn’t be difficult to find opponents to race against either. It’s a hugely ambitious project that’s already been in development for more than two years by a 50 person team.
A release date is yet to be set, but a full trailer is due soon.
