It always impresses me just how much can be done by a single developer; an excellent example is Remote Life – an homage to the glory days of the side-scrolling 2D shoot ’em up. Next Game Level is a developer comprised of just one man; clearly he’s someone who’s got a real passion for the arcade shooters of yesteryear.
Amidst the biomechanical enemies you’ll be shooting down over the course of Remote Life are some genuinely impressive, massive bosses – and it’s all set to an absolutely brilliant, pulsing electronic soundtrack.
Don’t just take my word for it though – check out the game’s teaser trailer below.
Remote Life is being released on all current consoles: PS4, PS5, Switch and Xbox One/Series X/S, priced at priced at $18.99 / €17.99 / £14.99.
